The 19" crash stems from the PST7 Series by Paiste - a range unique-sounding cymbals made by hand in the maker's Swiss factory. Slapped with a friendly price tag, this crash/ride as well as its siblings is particularly interesting for all-round drummers.
The Paiste 19-inch PST7 Crash
While they sound their best at medium to loud volume, all PST7 cymbals can be used in a wide range of styles since they've been forged into medium-thick slices of special bronze alloy for a nice and washy sound with medium sustain. The integrated bell chimes in with bright, well-defined accents for a warm, balanced and sparkling overall sound that only deserves to be added to the any pop or rock-focussed set-up.
